1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or purchasing SeedPress, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the plugin.

2. What SeedPress Is

SeedPress is a WordPress plugin for generating fake content — posts, users, products, orders, and more — in development and staging environments. It is a developer tool and is not intended for use on live production sites containing real user data.

3. License Plans

SeedPress is offered under three license tiers. All licenses are personal to the purchaser, non-transferable, and may not be shared, resold, or sublicensed.

Free

A personal license for use on one WordPress installation. The Free tier provides a limited feature set with no warranty beyond what is required by applicable law.

Pro — 1 Site

A personal license for use on one WordPress installation. Yearly subscriptions renew automatically on your billing anniversary; you may cancel at any time before the next renewal date. Lifetime licenses are a one-time purchase with no recurring charges.

Agency — Unlimited Sites

A license for use across an unlimited number of WordPress installations, including sites built for clients. You may not redistribute or resell the plugin itself or the license key.

4. Permitted Use

You may use SeedPress to:

  • Seed test data on local, development, or staging environments.
  • Build and manage client sites (Agency license required for more than one site).

You may not:

  • Use SeedPress to generate or store real personal data about real individuals.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the plugin beyond standard WordPress customization practices.
  • Use SeedPress in any way that violates applicable local, provincial, or federal laws.

5. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — if SeedPress does not work for your setup, within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.

Yearly subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel before the renewal date to stop future billing; cancellation outside the 30-day window does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

6. License Activation

Pro and Agency licenses are enforced via a license key issued through LemonSqueezy. Each key may be activated on the number of sites permitted by your plan. We reserve the right to deactivate keys used in violation of these Terms.

7. Updates & Support

Active subscribers receive plugin updates and priority email support for the duration of their subscription. Lifetime license holders receive updates for as long as SeedPress is actively maintained, with no fixed end date.

We make no guarantee of specific support response times, though we aim to reply to all requests within 2 business days.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

SeedPress is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility with any specific WordPress configuration, plugin, or theme. We strongly recommend testing SeedPress in a staging environment before relying on it in any critical workflow.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gérard Godin (sole proprietor, operating as SeedPress) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the plugin — including data loss, site downtime, or conflicts with third-party plugins. Our maximum aggregate liability to you in any case is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SeedPress after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of New Brunswick, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Brunswick.
